QTSC’s outstanding events in 2015

2015 was a successful communications year of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC). QTSC not only was chosen as one of 10 typical buildings of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on its 40 years of establishment and development but also was the leading organizer of big IT events as well as an ideal place for HCMC’ ones.

9 outstanding events of QTSC in 2015:

1.     On the occasion of HCMC’s 40 years of integration and development (1975 – 2015), QTSC was honored to be chosen as one of its 10 typical buildings & events by Vietnam Records Organization, especially, QTSC was the unique representative of information technology field. Following that, QTSC has affirmed its position as well as brand name in the area and Asia.

2.     QTSC has converted successfully quality management system ISO 9001:2008 and information security ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for Telecoms Center, Quang Trung Software City as standard of International Organization for Standardization ISO and DAS Certification Organization – UK. This is also QTSC’s commitment to customer: protecting information security, network security and applying the most advanced standards in the information management, helping customers more comfortable when using QTSC’s service.

3.     QTSC organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the Head office. This building has a total area of 15,000 sqm, including 9 floors, 1 mezzanine and 1 basement. There will be QTSC’s main office area, a large area for office leasing, an area for exhibition center, convention hall, data center…

4.     HCMC Department of Information and Communications, Lam Dong Department of Information and Communications, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) cooperated to organize the 2nd seminar on "Building Quang Trung Software City Chain - From idea to reality” in Dalat city with the aim to implement and promote QTSC chain and QTSC – Dalat.

5.     QTSC had cooperated with the leading IT enterprises to organize the 1st Vietnam IT Outsourcing Conference 2015 (VNITO). The event attracted over 400 local and international business leaders with about 100 international representatives from 20 countries and areas. This conference mainly focused on ITO/BPO sector with the goal to promote and support typical enterprises seeking potential partners and market; build up national brand name of IT outsourcing field.

6.     QTSC coordinated with VNCERT to held “International rehearsal on computer incident rescue ASEAN CERT 2015” in HCMC with 14 nations from Australia, Japan, China, India, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar. In Vietnam, there were 3 locations participated the rehearsal including Ha Noi, Da Nang and HCMC. Quang Trung Software City was the location for the rehearsal in HCMC.

7.   QTSC coordinated with HCMC Department of Information and Communications, Vietnam Information Security Association – South Office (VNISA) to organize Information security rehearsal 2015. This will help to improve the technical ability of staffs in monitoring and processing information security incidents; the process on detecting, preventing and restoring system as international standard procedure as well as assess the quality of rescue process, the rescue ability of HCMC’s information security staffs in any emergency.

8.  HCMC People’s Committee and the HCMC Department of Information and Communications organized the seventh HCMC information and communication technology award (ICT Award 2015) at Quang Trung Software City. This is the official award issued by HCMC People’s Committee and has been organized annually since 2008. The applicants are firms, associations and individuals working in the ICT field or ICT - application field.

9.     QTSC had the honour of achieving “Enterprise providing typical value-added service providers” award for its cloud computing service at the seventh HCMC information and communication technology award. Also, this was QTSC’s great achievement which has contributed to affirm its brand as well as service quality.
