On
the morning of April 4th, 2014, nearly 100 students of the University
of Technical Education Ho Chi Minh City and the Saigon Technology
University visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
Attending
the meeting were Dr. Tran Vu Binh, Director of Institute of Digital
Technology and Engineering and Mr. Ngo Van Toan, Vice President of
Global CyberSoft Vietnam (GCS).
Mr.
Binh shared the knowledge and skills that businesses required and
students need to supplement. He pointed out the fundamental knowledge
gaps of students, as well as they have not linked, used common knowledge
and knowledge of life into programming yet. In addition, IT students
need to enhance the relationship and experience as: review and exchange
regularly what they have learned with family, friends, etc; enroll more
non-core subjects; do yourself or create the group to build the small
software with practical applications, so on.

Following
the meeting, Mr. Ngo Van Toan introduced and shared career
opportunities, practical experience for IT students, and recruitment
procedures, policies in human resource development of GCS. He said the
IT industry was the foundation of all other careers, therefore IT
students should not worry, confuse about their future careers. “You have
plenty of opportunities to develop yourself if you have determination
and effort, it should be noted leading is to know your forte and your
hobby in order to get suitable orientation for the future,” he added.

Exchange the problems related to IT
Concluding
the visit, the students visited TMA Solutions. Here, they were
introduced to the training process, trainee recruitment process of IT
industry, actual working models and working environment at TMA
Solutions. They had been answered questions related to practical time,
the number of trainees, the requirements to be recruited, etc.
