QTSC to welcome Myanmar Computer Industry Association in Mandalay

On the first working week of 2017, the Myanmar Computer Industry Association in Mandalay (MCIA Mandalay) including 20 participants has visited and worked at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

Leading the delegation was Ms. Thiri Khit, Chairman of MCIA Mandalay, and Mr. Ye Yint Aung, General Director of Marter Innovation Solution, a MCIA’s member, together with representative of IT companies in Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar. Welcoming remarks of Mr. Tran Huu Dung, Chairman of QTSC opened the meeting. After that, Mr. Phan Phuong Tung, Deputy Manager of Sales Dept. presented on QTSC’s establishment and development process, as well as its highlight advantages. Myanmar enterprises were really interested in the strong development of QTSC in particular and Vietnam IT industry in general, because of the same situation. Many issues for the discussion session were inquired such as: the detail of QTSC’s development process in the last 16 years, QTSC’s competition advantages, working environment, investment attraction policies; startup ecosystem; the IT industry in Vietnam and Myanmar, and so on. Concluding the meeting, Myanmar businesses visited TMA Solutions – one of Vietnam leading IT companies being established by overseas Vietnamese. QTSC đón tiếp đoàn doanh nghiệp Hiệp hội Công nghiệp máy tính Mandalay, Myanmar

Chiều ngày 9/2/2017, đoàn doanh nghiệp thuộc Hiệp hội Công nghiệp máy tính Mandalay, Myanmar (Myanmar Computer Industry Association – MCIA Mandalay) gồm 20 thành viên đã đến thăm và làm việc tại Công viên phần mềm Quang Trung (QTSC).

Dẫn đầu đoàn là bà Thiri Khit, Chủ tịch MCIA Mandalay và ông Ye Yint Aung, Tổng Giám đốc Công ty Marter Innovative Solution, thành viên MCIA, cùng đại diện một số doanh nghiệp công nghệ thông tin tại Mandalay, thành phố lớn thứ hai của Myanmar. Sau phần phát biểu chào mừng của ông Trần Hữu Dũng, Chủ tịch hội đồng thành viên QTSC, ông Phan Phương Tùng, Phó phòng Kinh doanh QTSC đã giới thiệu sơ lược về quá trình hình thành, phát triển và những lợi thế nổi bật của QTSC. Qua đó, đoàn đại biểu rất ấn tượng với sự phát triển của QTSC cũng như ngành CNTT Việt Nam vì có nhiều nét tương đồng với Myanmar. Nhiều câu hỏi đã được đặt ra và trao đổi sôi nổi về các vấn đề như: các giai đoạn phát triển của QTSC trong suốt 16 năm qua; các lợi thế cạnh tranh, tiện ích, môi trường làm việc, chính sách thu hút đầu tư và giá thuê văn phòng tại QTSC; chia sẻ về cách thức tổ chức hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp và hiện trạng nền công nghiệp CNTT tại Việt Nam và Myanmar,… Kết thúc buổi gặp gỡ, đoàn đã đến thăm công ty TMA Solutions – một trong những công ty CNTT hàng đầu Việt Nam do Việt kiều thành lập. The Ministry of Science & Technology and overseas Vietnamese visited QTSC

On 8th February 2017, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) had the honor to welcome the delegation of Ministry of Science & Technology and overseas Vietnamese to visit QTSC.

Opening the meeting, Mr. Tran Huu Dung, Chairman of QTSC introduced about QTSC’s milestone, and the great contribution of overseas Vietnamese during the past time. As the first years of establishment, through periodical meetings, QTSC was received a lot of promotional programs to overseas Vietnamese from the city. That was the advantage to attract foreign investment and encourage domestic investment. Furthermore, the overseas Vietnamese enterprises operating in QTSC have had an important role in transferring technology, as well as a bridge for enterprises in QTSC and HCMC with international markets, especially the USA. Following that, Mr. Ta Ba Hung, the representative of the delegation and Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese (ALOV) was very impressed with QTSC’s strong development. Therefore, they have desired to cooperate with QTSC in further issues, such as science and technology transfer, basic science with the goal to develop the country’s IT industry.
