On
the afternoon of November 29th, 2013, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC)
held the year-end CEO meeting 2013 with the topic on “Tax and auditing
update” was presented by KPMG. The meeting attracted the participation
of more than 40 leaders of enterprises operating in QTSC.
Welcoming
the meeting, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Deputy CEO of QTSC summarized the
activities of QTSC and enterprises in QTSC in 2013 as well as the
activities in the first quarter of 2014, especially the preferential
policies of Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP for IT enterprises.

The
meeting was continued with the presentation of Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan,
Director of Tax and Corporate Services, KPMG about tax policies of CIT
(Corporate Income Tax), PIT (Personal Income Tax) in 2013 and the new
ones in 2014. After that, Mr. Nelson Casihan, Director of Audit
Services, KPMG introduced financial statements overview and the trust of financial information which will be considered by investors, creditors.

Many
enterprises were interested in valuation of financial position, how to
solve the problems when the audit agency found out mistakes and be fined
or how to register asset depreciation logically, so on. All these
questions were answered clearly through specific examples based on the
decisions of the Ministry of Finance.
At the end of the meeting, on behalf of QTSC, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long wished
enterprises a good business result in 2013, more success in 2014 and
invited them to join a party with the desire to increase the connection
of QTSC community.

CEO club of QTSC was established in 2011 and was organized regularly in
order to create business and exchange opportunities between enterprises
as well as a firm IT community in QTSC. In 2013, QTSC held six CEO
meetings with useful topics such as: Fashion style and Wine culture;

for risk transfer; Optimizing taxes for individuals and businesses; IP
