On
the morning of May 30, 2013, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) held
Human resources club meeting with the topic on "Employee benefits and
health care trends in hi-tech industry" with the participation of 35
members from 22 companies inside and outside QTSC.
Joining
this activity were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong – Supervisor of Talentnet
and Dr. Truong Hieu Nghia – Director of Vi Dan Clinic.
During
the meeting, Ms. Duong presented the knowledge and experience on
building employee benefits. She said: “2013, a year of economy with many
fluctuations have led to change in business and strategy thinking of
Vietnam enterprises. They had more cautions to face the difficult
problems while not only reducing costs but also ensuring competitive
advantages. The change in the operation led to the change in HR
strategy. To ensure the effectiveness of HR, enterprises have to
constantly improve the working environment as well as policies, wages,
bonuses and appropriate benefits to encourage potential employees in
enhancing capacity and contributing the operation of the businesses.”

After
that, Dr. Truong Hieu Nghia showed some health care methods to keep
employees. With the job particulars are often sitting in the office and
working on the computers, therefore, employees in IT companies often
face a number of pathologies
such as myopia, shoulder pain, backache, spinal pain, stomach diseases,
etc. To ensure the quality of human resources as well as express
concern of health care of employees, the HR director should suggest
company leaders some health care programs as well as consider
appropriate services to protect the employees’ health.

At the end of the meeting, all members had the satisfaction and made suggestions for the club’s development.
