On
29th January 2016, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) held the year-end
meeting for its CEO Club. The meeting attracted more than 30 leaders of
enterprises operating in QTSC.
Opening the meeting, Mr. Lam
Nguyen Hai Long, CEO of QTSC informed its results in 2015 as well as
plans in 2016 and the next stages.
Currently, there were 120
enterprises operating in QTSC (69 local firms and 51 foreign ones).
Among them are 10 ones in the list of 50 leading companies in Vietnam, 4
global companies, 6 ones with CMMI certificate, 4 ones over 1,000
people; the total number of people who are studying and working in QTSC
is 18,260 people, according to Mr. Long.
A number of large enterprises
in QTSC has had great business results in this year. Also, total sales
of businesses was estimated at 4,949 billion (equivalent to US $ 220
million), up 30.3% over the same period. The export market has remained
the important role and value of exports in 2015 was estimated at US $
131 million, up 33.2% over the same period.
In 2015, QTSC had the visit of
67 delegations (5 Government ones, 57 foreign ones and 5 local ones).
Furthermore, the Business center supported 150 free consultant
activities focusing mainly in activities: Consulting/Supporting
investment license/certificate of business registration/long-term
residence registration, Visa/Passport, Apec card; Renewal of work permit
for foreigners; Adjustment investment license/certificate of business
registration; Translation and notarized services, so on.
As the plan in 2016, QTSC will
deploy more software applications in the management and administration
such as messaging application - QTSC SMS BrandName; Helpdesk system -
interfaces to customers feedback on products and services of Telecom
& Informatics Center; Voice application helps customers reflected in
images about the satisfaction of products/services provided by QTSC;
Spacial asset management system based on GIS (Geographic Information
System) - an information system which is designed to manage all assets,
database of QTSC based on a reference coordinate system (digital map),
Mr. Long added.
At the end of the program, Mr.
Vu Anh Tuan - CEO of QTSC Incubator introduced the business incubator
model as well as its preferential policies for start-up businesses in
QTSC.
