QTSC welcomed the Hochiminh City High Technology Association

On the morning of May 9, 2013, leadership of Hochiminh High Technology Association visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Chi Dao, Association President, Former Vice Minister of Ministry of Education and Training, Former President of Vietnam National University – HCMC, and its members. Welcoming the delegation was Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long - Deputy CEO of QTSC.

After QTSC’s introduction of activities, the formation and development process, Mr. Tran Chi Dao said as a participant in building QTSC at the first time, after more than 10 years he was greatly impressed by QTSC strong development and hope that QTSC will be further developed in the future.

Then, Mr. Dao Ha Trung - Secretary General, Vice President of High Technology Association, said to develop high technology is one of top priorities of Vietnam at the present. There is still a limitation of realization of scientific research, linking high technology research and development with enterprises to create properties to society.

Hochiminh High Technology Association was established with a desire to cooperate, support and co-ordinate with national and international organizations to create high technology human resource for Vietnam, cooperate and support members to search for research subjects and funding in Vietnam and oversea as well as to look for applying technologies to give to Vietnamese businesses.
