Tien Giang University visited QTSC

On 19 May 2017, nearly 90 students of Tien Giang University had a visit to Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) aiming to learn about working environment in IT companies.

As the biggest software park in the country, QTSC not only contributes to promote IT industry, but also orients occupation for Southern students. Also, QTSC annually organized activities to bring schools to enterprises closer with the purpose to help students after graduation can immediately meet the requirements of work. Visiting QTSC, students from IT faculty, Tien Giang University listened to a brief introduction of QTSC’s development and achievement. Then, they visited TMA Solutions and DIGI-TEXX operating in QTSC. According to the two companies, nowadays, students are highly valued for their willingness to learn and research new applications and technologies. However, they have basic weaknesses such as foreign language skills, communication and teamwork skills, therefore do not meet the expectations of employers. Recently, in the context of deepening integration, businesses are asking young people to understand the corporate culture, partner culture, customer habits and so on. Through the trip, students know clearly their own strength and weakness to improve so that there are better results at school.
