CEO meeting in March

CEO Club of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) held the meeting as periodically in March with the topic “Opportunities for IT startups” at QTSC Incubator on 29 March 2017.

Opening the program, CEOs visited PowerSoft and VMT Solutions, as two companies are starting their business at QTSC Incubator. Mr. Nguyen Duy Nam, CEO of PowerSoft said it was established in 2015 with 04 members, after 1 year of operation the company has grown to 16 ones. PowerSoft's orientation is to develop e-hospital software for clinics and hospitals that meet all medical and clinical operations. VMT Solutions is a company that applies 3D laser scanning technology in heritage preservation and restoration. Up to now, there are also several hundred large and small projects from developed countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Austria, etc. Recently, the Laufen Castle in Switzerland is one of typical projects of the special field. Following the program, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, CEO of QTSC Incubator introduced the support programs of Ho Chi Minh City for startup businesses. Mr. Tuan added that the city spends 1,000 billion VND to support startups in the first three years. New startups or businesses operating less than 3 years will apply for 10 funds and incubators designated by the city, after the evaluation round, enterprises will receive periodic support and advice on issues related to business activities. At the end of the program is the exchange of experiences on organization and development of the company, such as how organize the company to fit the size, type of company (private, limited, shares, foreign, etc); how influence to the organizational model; sharing experience on building the core management team and so on.
