To
refresh the CEO Club meetings, on May 25th 2015, nearly 30 CEOs from
companies in Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) visited Can Tho City.
As the program, the club visited Department of Information and Communications of Can Tho and was presented on “The potential for ICT development of Can Tho City” by Mr. Duong The Dung – Deputy Director of the department. According to him, Can Tho City has the advantage of traffic (sea, road and air); it is also a trade and service center growing strongly; a human resources training center of the Mekong Delta. Besides, Can Tho City has planed to build a centralised IT zone and IT business incubator with the expectation scale is 100 hectares.
Then, the delegation had an exchange with IT students of the Can Tho University. Through this networking session the students had the opportunity to interact with the CEOs and was answered the questions related to IT sector as well as the advantages and difficulties that they encounter in learning and working.
At the end of the program, the club visited and gave gifts for the disable children’s school of Can Tho City.
