Department of Information and Communications of Phu Yen visited QTSC

On 22nd February, 2013, leaders of Department of Information and Communications (DIC) of Phu Yen visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

The delegation was led by Mr. Le Thanh Phuong – Director of DIC of Phu Yen, leaders of departments and was welcomed by Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long – Deputy CEO of QTSC.

The aim of this meeting was to learn QTSC’s development model in order to get experience for extending the development of IT field in Phu Yen. After the introduction of Mr. Long on the building and development process as well as achievements of QTSC in the last 12 years, Mr. Phuong said “Phu Yen has a ready plan for ICT development including hardware and software to prepare for future conditions. At present, there are many Phu Yen students studying IT in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and we are researching on solutions to attract graduate students return Phu Yen.”

“QTSC has had consultancy of development of Quang Trung Software City chain for other areas and is ready to support Phu Yen in establishing a software park, training human resources and developing IT business incubator in Phu Yen,” Mr. Long said.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited some typical enterprises in QTSC.
