Okinawa’s delegation visited QTSC

On February 13, 2014, Okinawa Industry Promotion Public Corporation visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

The delegation led by Mr. Masaki Tomizawa, Director of the Corporation and the representatives of Okinawa’s small and medium IT enterprises. Welcoming the delegation was Mr. To Hung Anh, Deputy Sales Manager of QTSC.

Mr. Anh had a presentation of QTSC’s milestone and environment in QTSC such as ICT companies, high technology R&D companies, IT training centers, business incubator center, investment funds, and other services.

High quality human resources are strongly concerned by Japanese companies, not only their level but also their language ability. However, QTSC is very confident of both of them. At present, there are 6 colleges and universities training high quality IT manpower in QTSC. Besides, QTSC has connected with more than 30 colleges and universities in Ho Chi Minh City in order to support enterprises. On the other hand, there is a Japanese training center in QTSC (HIKARI Academy) with the aim to train and supply engineers for Japanese companies in the country and abroad. In addition, Japanese is considered as the second language for the students of the FPT University in QTSC.

Mr. Masaki Tomizawa was very impressive about QTSC’s fast and firm development as well as the preferential policies of the government and QTSC for foreign investors. “The key purpose of this visit is seeking information of investment and partners for Okinawa enterprises. Then, we will report to the government in order to build enterprise supporting plans in investing to abroad, especially South East Asia market,” he said.

To conclude the visit, the delegation met and exchanged information with lectures and students of HIKARI Academy in QTSC.
